Dance Expression Canada Dance Expression Canada (DE) is Markham's first and only Bollywood dance studio hosting classes for all ages, workshops and a variety of performances. Their aim is to inspire through dance and for students to learn about South Asian culture.
This traditional African drum and dance ensemble was formed in Toronto in 2019 to feature young and emerging artists. Their vision is to share their love of music and dance to uplift people while promoting African arts and culture. They perform at events in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
Edllusion has created a unique brand of magic, mind reading and illusion that has been featured on television networks, theatres and major international events. He has performed for audiences around the world and has created some of the most unique illusions in the industry. His blend of comedy and magic has made him one of the most in-demand entertainers across Canada. Get ready for a show that will blow your mind!
Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians (MFFC) Youth Choir Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians is a non-profit organization committed to the promotion and preservation of the Filipino culture and heritage with youth and seniors programs. Within the MFFC is Rhythm Re-Choired, a youth based mentorship program with a focus on the performing arts. Rhythm Re-Choired, with members from the age of 8 to 18, share a passion for performance of song and dance and share this love with our community.
Monica is a 26-year old born in Toronto with salvadorian roots who began her role in the Latin Community in Toronto as a singer, songwriter, and performer. Monica began her professional singing career at 15 years old recording alongside world renowned producer Juan Diego De Sedas and has performed alongside international artists such as Yahira Placensia, a Peruvian salsa artist signed by legendary producer and pianist Sergio George as well as singing lead vocals alongside La International Sonora Dinamita a world famous Colombian cumbia orchestra.
Monica has continued her musical career as a lead vocalist to many bands in Toronto, becoming one of the top female vocalists in the Toronto Latin music scene.
Something Free Something Free is a Markham/Stouffville based high-energy group of six super-friends that have been playing Pop/Rock/Alternative/80s enthusiastically across the GTA since 2010. Crafting fun, interesting, and engaging medleys and set sets is what drives them, and nothing brings them greater joy on stage than to see someone turn to their friend and excitedly say “oooh, I love that song.”
There will be a variety of delicious food options available for purchase from food trucks and food booths, including:

Visit the Pride of Canada Carousel on July 1 for special priced $1 rides (normally $2 per ride). The carousel will be open on July 1 from 11 AM to 9 PM.About the Pride of Canada Carousel:
The unique and environmentally friendly Pride Of Canada Carousel is the kinetic centerpiece of Remington’s public art initiative. Unlike any carousel ever created, each of its 44 rideable sculptures has been lovingly crafted from found and/or recycled objects. To source materials, artist Patrick Amiot embarked on a road trip across Canada, finding scrap metal and abandoned items that represented Canada’s diverse range of places and people. The Carousel serves as a cultural landmark and venue for community gatherings and events on Downtown Markham.
Markham residents attending this year’s Canada Day celebration will have a chance to win one Free Coffee for a Year prize, presented by Tim Hortons.
