Markham Centre Trails Phase IV (MCT Ph. IV) is the next phase of build-out of a safe and well-connected trail network within the Markham Centre. It follows the recommendations of the Markham Centre Master Plan Study that was completed in February 2024 and is consistent with the City’s Active transportation and recreation trail policies and plans. This project will provide a trail to connect the Rouge River Valley corridor between Apple Creek Boulevard and Highway 7.
Community Engagement Session
An in-person Community Engagement Session will be hosted by the City, where the project team will outline the planning and detailed design process the City goes through to construct the trail. Additionally, this session will showcase the potential trail impacts to the neighbouring residents and proposed mitigation measures.
