A Smart City Strategy for Markham Centre
The City of Markham is developing a strategy for deploying smart city solutions to support the promotion of economic growth and enhancement of quality of life in Markham Centre. While there is no "one definition" of a smart city, smart cities integrate innovative policy, partnerships, and technology to connect people and places, create efficiencies and enhance quality of life. Some of the benefits of smart city solutions include:
Identify the smart opportunities in support of the MCSP
Define steps for implementation
Process and Next Steps
We are early in this journey and will be integrating with ongoing work on the MCSP throughout the process.
We want to hear from you and learn about your priorities for smart city development in Markham Centre. Your feedback will help shape the direction and priorities of Markham Centre’s Smart City Strategy.
