While there is no "one definition" of a smart city, smart cities integrate innovative policy, partnerships, and technology to connect people and places, create efficiencies and enhance quality of life. We will work with the Markham Centre Secondary Plan (MCSP) project team to identify opportunities to pilot and leverage smart city tools in Markham Centre to support the MCSP vision and guiding principles.
