George Couperthwaite Park Play Equipment Replacement

Playground equipment is replaced and updated to ensure the safety of all who use it. Playground equipment is always evolving, and new equipment helps to revitalize the park.

As part of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the following will also be completed:

  • Replace rubber surfacing with Engineered Wood Fiber because playground is not in close proximity to a splash pad amenity 
  • Add concrete curbs and entrance ramps to parks where they are missing
